Job Description

Qualification:
A Quality Tech must have knowledge of ISO/TS requirements, be a proficient user of the Microsoft Office Suite (at least Word, Excel and PowerPoint), to support documentation, data analysis, reporting, communication, and cross-functional team collaboration. Needs to have a proven ability to self schedule workload to meet timeline requirements for new products, and prevent customer delays. Strong time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills. Communicates and works well with others. Motivated self starter with excellent problem solving skills.
Responsibilities:
8 hour days, 5 days a week. Monday through Friday 1st shift
  • Inspection of BUA profiles-Verify to inspection plans. Includes extruded and finished parts Notify operators of non-conforming parts, oversee sorting and product audits.
  • Review drawings to verify accuracy, completeness, and alignment with product and customer requirements.
Incoming inspection of purchased materials-verify to inspection and sampling plans. Includes dimension verification of production components using calipers and go/no-go gauges and visual inspection for missing plating, corrosion/contamination and cosmetic features. Conduct all testing as per test plans.(ie. cleanliness, torque) Control of defective and scrap product. Maintain Quality production records (filing of test cards from production) Audits and inspections as directed by QM.
