Job Description

About This Job This is an exciting entry-level opportunity to join our growing quality team! As a Quality Technician Level 1, you will play a vital role in ensuring the high quality of our products. You will perform a variety of inspections, tests, and analyses, contributing directly to our commitment to customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Job Duties and Responsibilities Conduct quality control inspections of incoming materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods. Perform testing and calibration of equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy. Identify and document defects, using data analysis techniques to track trends and patterns. Perform root cause analysis to determine the underlying causes of quality issues. Develop and implement problem-solving strategies to prevent defects and improve processes. Maintain accurate records and prepare reports using the Microsoft Office Suite. Apply SPC (Statistical Process Control) methods to monitor and improve process capability. Ensure compliance with
ISO 9001
quality management system standards. Collaborate with other team members to identify and resolve quality-related issues. Required Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in a related field preferred. Experience Entry-level position; prior experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment is a plus but not required. Knowledge/Skills Basic understanding of quality control principles and practices. Proficiency in using measurement tools and equipment. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Preferred Qualifications Experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control). Familiarity with
ISO 9001
quality management systems. Experience with root cause analysis techniques. Physical Requirements/Work Conditions Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds. May involve working in a manufacturing environment with potential exposure to noise and machinery.
