Electronics Tester - Second Shift

We currently have a contract to possible direct hire opportunity working at one of our client companies located in Greensboro, North Carolina. The need is for an Electronics Tester to work in an engineering lab environment and work with electronic testing equipment. The work days and hours for the position are on second shift, Monday through Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m. (Four 10 hour days) The pay for the position is up to $23.00 per hour, depending upon a candidate's skills and experience. The ideal candidate will either have a minimum of an Associate's Degree in electronics, engineering, or a technical field, OR currently be enrolled in an electronics, engineering or technical program at a community college or university, OR have relevant work experience.

Electronics Tester Responsibilities Work in an engineering lab environment, working with electronic testing equipment Proper set-up of designated electronics test stations from verbal and written instructions Use mechanical skills and tools to set up the components to be tested and then use computers to run software to conduct the tests and collect data Interact with automated test equipment via custom interface software Analyze data parameters to ensure electronic product functionality Qualifications Mechanical skills and an ability to work with hand tools and torque wrenches Basic computer skills (MS Windows operating systems, MS Word, MS-Excel, E-mail) Must be a self-starter and be able to work independently as well as have the ability to work together as a team Effectively multitask, being able to rotate focus and concentration smoothly from one test system to another Strong analytical skills Must be reliable and responsible If you are qualified and interested in this position, please apply online and your application will be reviewed promptly.
