Job Description

Oversee all aspects of inspection to ensure each product ships correctly without flaws. Knowledge of upholstery Excel capabilities to document error rate and detail actions/corrections Work with various department heads/supervisors to fix recurring errors by personnel or styles. Ensure frame is correct Ensure correct fabric has been applied Ensure all upgrades have been added, especially seat, backs and throw pillow upgrades (this begins in cushion stuffing) Ensure wood finish matches standard and there are no visible scratches or knicks Swivels, swivel rockers and swivel gliders are sound without grinding. Glider and rockers do not hit the ground Inspect sectionals as one piece to ensure connectors are in place and pieces align Inspect beds as one piece to ensure the fit is secure and stable Inspect pairs/multiples of chairs and sofas are identical before packing Legs on straight and in correct location Seat and back cushions are a good fit in the cavity and excessive/wavy welt is reduced Proper pattern match has been executed Cushion anchors/tie downs are applied to the frame and seat cores Proper application of deck labels to they are neat and located in the correct place
Slipcovers:
Ensure fit is within standard - not too baggy or too long Check swivel, swivel glider, glider, etc to ensure the correct mechanism has been placed and that it works correctly - smooth with no grinding noises. Placement of glider and SW-glider needs to be tested on floor for location accuracy (tipping/rubbing)
