SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE
The Quality Inspector is primarily responsible for ensuring conformity of components received that will be converted into a finished product, as well as performing in-process inspections/audits of each work center within the production area. This position will also be responsible for performing ANSI inspections. Essential Functions/Skills Perform and document (in a timely manner) inspections of materials received. Perform and document in-process quality inspections at production equipment. Assist in ensuring any nonconforming materials are identified, isolated and controlled. Perform, document (in a timely manner) and react appropriately to ANSI inspections. Complete destructive and non-destructive testing using prescribed test methods and lab equipment. Ensure correct scrap and line clearance procedures are followed. Maintain computer data files (MS Excel). Transfer learning across teams through training of others. Identify and provide improvement opportunities.

Temperature is uncontrolled, and there is heat, dust, noise, fumes, moving equipment and machinery Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job: regularly standing, walking, climbing, bending, lifting, pushing/pulling, grasping, reaching at, below or above shoulder level, repetitive use of hands/fingers, visual and/or auditory requirements. Frequently handling up to 25 lbs. of weight, and occasionally 25 to 50 lbs. Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED Equivalent training, certifications, or experience for listed competencies 2 or more years' experience in similar or related position(s)
