Driver's License Driving Full Job Description Responsibilities:
Accurately performing various construction materials tests in accordance with applicable standards. Perform equipment calibrations. Compile lab results and complete lab reports for clients. Ability to obtain additional ACI, ICC and NCDOT certifications with training.
Skills and Qualifications:
High School diploma with 0-2 years (Field Tech I) 2-5 years (Field Tech II) of experience performing laboratory testing of various materials. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, Outlook, Dropbox and/or OneDrive. Ability to work independently, use own judgment and make decisions. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to perform required testing and maintain detailed reports. Must have the ability to bend, stoop, kneel and twist, use hands to grasp and arms to reach, to raise hands above head, to sit, climb and balance and to work in confined spaces and heights with adequate vision to perform tasks. Must be able to lift and carry up-to 50 pounds, on occasion. Valid Driver's license with good driving record and ability to drive.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology or Construction Management or equivalent. Prior experience working with construction, inspections or material testing. Understanding of various laboratory testing. Certifications (Desired)
ACI/NCDOT
Concrete Field Testing Soils Certification (ICC, NICET, WACEL, NCDOT, SCDOT) ACI Aggregate Testing Technician Level 1
