In our state of the art facilities in Huntersville, NC, you will collaborate with operations to address quality issues, drive continuous improvement, and contribute to building high quality products that exceed customer expectations. You will have exceptional attention to detail, and a proactive mindset and be a team player. Ensinger employs approximately 35 employees, but is part of a family owned global company wtih 2200 employees worldwide. Key Responsibilities Conduct analysis of raw materials, in process materials, finished goods, checking for quality and that they meet necessary specifications. Perform, record and communicate inspection results during all stages of production using a variety of and toosl; calipers, micrometers, height stands, rings, pins, etc. Initiate and supports NCRs and CAs. Maintain and perform calibration of mechanical inspection/verification equipment Develop and monitor quality metrics Prepare and maintain test data & reports Perform roving inspections and internal audits Create FAI and PPAP reports Assist production wiith in-process checks via the CMM and Vision System Program CMM Hexagon(PC-DMIS software) and Vision Machines (InSpec Software) Specialized Skills and Abilities Minimum 3-5 years quality control experience in a manufacturing environment including internal auditing preferably in precision machine shop utilizing hand tools. Advanced computer skills, including Word, Excel Outstanding dexterity, strong attention to detail and problem solving abilities Excellent organizational skills Ability to analyze, and interpret information including reading and understanding technical documents, specifications and blueprints. Exposure and interest in growing CMM programming skills. Ability to work independently
