Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Technician/Auditor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. The Quality Technician/ Auditor is responsible for all phases of the auditing process including documentation and finished samples to ensure quality parts are produced and meet customer specifications that follow print requirements prior to delivering to the customer. This position will learn to perform various testing and gaging as required by customer specifications. This position performs Process Auditing to insure conformity to requirements and possible Internal Auditing to insure effectiveness of Corrective and Preventive Actions Duties/Responsibilities Performs Receiving Inspection Audit according to established guidelines by ensuring compliance to print specifications. Completes First Article Inspection sampling to ensure print compliance prior to production run. Completes Final Article Inspection of production parts prior to release for shipment. Completes entry of specifications and COC's as required. Performs Process Audits providing confirmation of process guidelines being performed as specified. Performs specialty testing per customer requirements. Performs clerical duties such as filing or typing of reports. Provides other assistance to the Director of Quality such as project work or investigation into root cause analysis. Works proactively to promote teamwork at all levels of the company. Conforms with and abides by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and safety rules. Performs all duties according to established safety policy, including wearing PPE. Qualifications Proven experience in quality control or auditing within a manufacturing environment. Excellent computer skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent attendance record. Good mathematical ability, including good understanding of measurements and gaging practices. Must be able to perform physical activities that require use of arms and legs, moving body such as lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials as necessary.
