Transform the everyday with us The Electrification & Automation (EA) Business Unit offers the full range of energy distribution systems and solutions for all markets and through all sales channels. We provide reliable power distribution grids of today while investing in our Future Grids portfolio to create the power distribution grid of the future. We are looking for an Incoming Quality Inspector for our Receiving Inspection team on the1st shift. This position will be based at our Wendell, NC facility. This inspector position is responsible for performing incoming material inspection duties on our Production Solutions products, working alongside our logistics team to ensure and verify supplier quality.

6:00AM- 2:30
PM Hourly Rate :
$22.46 You'll win us over by having the following qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
1+ years' experience with inspection of electrical and mechanical components 1+ years' experience with reading and understanding mechanical blueprints 1+ years' experience with inspection of welded components using welding symbols/tolerances per mechanical blueprints. 1+ years' experience working with tape measures, calipers, and height gages Basic proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking. Proven record in Quality and Productivity Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer - sponsored work authorization.
Preferred Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED Residential or commercial electrical and mechanical education or certifications 1+ years of prior work experience in warehouse receiving and inspection Forklift experience You'll make an impact by: Works with peers, factory personnel and 3rd party suppliers to ensure inspection tools are properly calibrated Works with purchasing and engineering teams to resolve non-conformances with material that will be used in finished goods Drives continuous improvement activities with own team and other departments Will work with SAP, Salesforce.com and Microsoft Excel Must adhere to all safety rules and keep safety first for self and others Perform miscellaneous other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Management Being a strong team player
