Job Description

Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented PCE Technician to join our dynamic service team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of pressure control equipment(PCE) maintenance, repair, and inspection tasks to ensure our customers' PCE operate safely and efficiently.
BASIC FUNCTIONS
The function of the PCE Technician is to assist in the service and recertification of NXL Technologies and Third Party Pressure Control Equipment.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
This position will primarily be in a shop environment with the possibility of travel to client locations. On-Call Service for clients may be required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Heavy lifting, bending, reaching, long periods of time on feet & high noise levels.
EDUCATION, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
Required 1. Strong Communication Skills -Verbal and Written 2. 1-year relevant experience with valid driver's license. 3. Basic mathematical skills 4. Ability to organize and complete projects safely and on-schedule 5. Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings Preferred 1. Knowledge of coil tubing and wireline products and terminology 2. 2 years relevant work experience. 3. Previous experience with mechanical assembly and working with hydraulic systems.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities 1. Pressure test equipment per NXL procedures and work instructions. 2. Function test equipment per NXL procedures and work instructions. 3. Complete Equipment Re-Certification for clients including disassembly, cleaning, and assembly of equipment per NXL and client instructions. 4. Maintain records of all tests on the "Pressure & Pull Test Logs" located at each test bay. 5. Accurately populate test and client information within Squeeze (File Info). 6. Follow the process for Control of Non-Conforming Product and initiate a non-conformance report any time the test pressure exceeds the allowable pressure. 7. Conduct regular routine maintenance operations on shop equipment in accordance with pre-defined schedules. 8. Document pressure gauge and transducer change outs on the "Pressure Tester Maintenance Record". Coordinate with Quality Control to ensure change out rotations are completed as required. 9. Ensure NXL and client assets are protected. 10. Report to PCE Foreman any requirements for tools, parts, and supplies while maintaining up to date inventory stock levels. 11. Complete job traveler/work order sign offs and verifications as required. 12. Maintain a positive influence on colleagues, clients, and staff. 13. Any other responsibilities as specifically designated by the Director of Operations and PCE Foreman / Supervisor, from time to time.

Pay:
$20.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
