Job Description

1st Shift 6:00a - 2:00p
Pay:
$22.24 What Will You Do? In order to grow and build a successful career with Exmark, you will be responsible for: Responsible for accurately inspecting in coming parts flagged for inspection by SAP Quality Program and making an accurate decision as to accepting or rejecting parts based on fit, form, or function. Maintains Accurate records and processes appropriate documentation. Reviews nonconforming product and processes appropriate documentation in order for Exmark Shipping Department to return product to Suppliers. May be called upon as a valuable resource to trouble shoot problems with purchased parts in production and make assessment of the situation. Works closely with Engineering by recommending drawing changes if errors or variations are found. Assists in finished product evaluation and feedback by conducting "Hot Test" audits on a periodic basis. Works closely with purchasing to react to adverse part situations so vendors can be notified. Work closely with Engineering for the inspection of prototype parts. Must perform with a high degree of accuracy and exercises prudent judgement. May be required to perform first piece inspection so vendors can start production runs if parts are acceptable. Identify and apply Lean methodologies to ensure processes are scientifically controlled and continuously improved. Able to work without supervision. What Do You Need? Must have high school diploma plus two years of technical training in Manufacturing Engineering, nondestructive testing or related fields. Equivalent experience may be considered. Must have comprehensive knowledge of inspection procedures, basic knowledge of common manufacturing processes, and must be able to read complex blueprints.
