Job Description

Professional Competencies:
Diligent in researching all requirements using all resources. Self-confidence in explaining and confirming inspection results. Strong communication skills both verbally and written with coworkers and customers. Knowledge of and when to use effective resources.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Read manufacturing blueprints and contracts to ensure that all parts specifications are abided by. Accurately use calipers, micrometers, pin gauges, and scale rulers. Inspect parts while in-process and at the final level. Perform necessary MRP and DBR transactions. Perform first article inspections. Perform additional tests, as needed, including pressure, leakage, and tensile. Facilitate source inspections. Verify part marking for proper identification as required by customer. Research quality requirements for upcoming jobs.
Marginal Duties:
Complete all necessary paperwork. Specification testing per customer and certification requirements.

Must be able to use common office software systems.
