Job Description

Powersports Nation is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Engine Build Tester to join our team. PSN is the largest supplier of remanufactured engines and salvaged ATV/UTV parts in the industry; and we need a reliable, analytical tester to ensure that our Engine Department runs efficiently. The Engine Build Tester is responsible for testing newly built engines to ensure they meet performance, reliability, and safety standards. The ideal candidate will be able to work 45 hours a week with minimal absences. We offer great hours (M-THU 7-6pm, F 7-Noon)

Pay:
$16.50 - $17.50

Responsibilities:
Set up and run engines on test stands, monitoring performance metrics (such as power, temperature, and pressure), and checking for any mechanical or electrical issues. Identify potential defects, report issues to the engine build team, and assist in troubleshooting to resolve problems. Document test results, make necessary adjustments to optimize engine performance, and ensure engines are ready for delivery or sale. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED Must have own tools or be willing to purchase required tools 1+ years of mechanical experience (automotive, diesel, or powersports engines) Strong mechanical background and attention to detail Excellent problem-solving abilities, self-motivated, and a team player Ability to lift up to 75 lbs individually and 175 lbs in a team lift
