Job Description

Our client is looking for a Quality Inspector to support their mission-critical work in the aerospace and military defense industry. This position involves inspecting and measuring parts used in land vehicles, aircraft, and space systems, ensuring every product meets strict quality standards through dimensional and visual inspections. As a Quality Inspector, you will work closely with production teams to identify errors, review documentation like CoC, CoA, and FAIR, and utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, height gages, and pin gages. Your attention to detail and understanding of GD&T (blueprint reading) will be essential in maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced, 2nd shift (3 pm-12 am) environment on a 9/80 schedule. This opportunity offers a rewarding chance to develop high-value skills in quality control, mechanical inspection, and supplier coordination, all while supporting vital defense and aerospace systems.
Work Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 3:00 PM-12:00 AM, 9/80 schedule
Required Skills, Education and Experience:
2+ years of experience with mechanical/dimensional inspection and the use of precision measurement tools (calipers, height gages, pin gages, verniers) Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading Experience reviewing Certificates of Conformance (CoC), Certificates of Analysis (CoA), and FAIR documentation Ability to write Defective Material Reports (DMRs) and coordinate Return to Vendor (RTV) processes Excellent attention to detail and communication skills to identify and report errors during in-process inspections Think you know someone who'd be perfect for this role?
