$22.00 - $25.00 per hour We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Inspector to join our manufacturing team in Chelmsford, MA. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for a professional who takes pride in ensuring product excellence. The primary responsibility of this role is to perform routine part inspections according to the Quality Control inspection plan and accurately record results to maintain our high standards.

Key Responsibilities Precision Inspection:

Perform QC inspections in strict accordance with part-specific Quality Control inspection plans.

Metrology & Calibration:

Ensure all measuring equipment is calibrated and in good working order; support the company's overall metrology and calibration programs.

Nonconformance Management:

Identify and process nonconforming materials following established procedures to ensure quality integrity.

Technical Support:

Assist with product failure analysis and participate in new product trials by collecting, compiling, and reporting inspection data to the Quality Engineer.

Validation:

Provide critical input for product validation processes to ensure all customer requirements are met.

Safety & Culture:

Actively help promote and maintain a safe, collaborative work environment within the organization.

Qualifications & Requirements Education:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Quality role specifically within the plastic injection molding industry.

Technical Skills:

Strong familiarity with plastic injection molding quality attributes and common defect types. Proficiency with a wide variety of handheld measurement tools and gages. Basic understanding of engineering part drawings; knowledge of GD&T is a significant plus. Experience with CMMs, vision systems, or optical measurement equipment is highly preferred.

Standards:

Familiarity with statistical sampling plans.

Certifications:

ASQ certification (CMI or CQT) is a plus.
