Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a diligent Quality Inspector to ensure the quality of all incoming and outgoing materials and products, including production processes and procedures. This role will primarily focus on quality inspections to maintain high standards. During downtime, the candidate will assist in other areas of the shop as needed, contributing to various tasks to support overall operations. Responsibilities
  • Follow technical instructions and interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
  • Monitor operations to ensure they meet production standards.
  • Recommend adjustments to the assembly or production process.
  • Inspect, test, or measure materials or products being produced.
  • Measure products with general hand measuring equipment.
  • Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) as required.
  • Generate and facilitate the disposition of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
  • Maintain a clean and well-organized workspace.
  • Maintain Equipment Calibration schedule and ESD compliance logs.
  • Ensure thorough understanding and compliance with quality standards.
  • Assist in other areas of the shop during downtime, including assembly, maintenance, or other support tasks. Desired Qualifications
  • 3-5 years of experience in QC/Manufacturing assembly.
  • Knowledge of 8D Methodology and or 6 sigma training
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to perform and inspect soldering operations compliant with IPC 610 Class 2 and Class 3.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams.
  • Strong understanding of raw materials and manufacturing processes.
