Quality Inspector - 3rd Shift Masis Professional Group - 3.2 Nashua, NH Job Details Temp-to-hire 6 hours ago Benefits Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Computer literacy High school diploma or GED Full Job Description Quality Inspector 3rd Shift | Sunday-Thursday | 11:00 PM-7:00 AM This position requires working on-site five days per week. Masis Staffing Solutions is assisting our client in seeking a Quality Inspector I to join their manufacturing team. This position is responsible for ensuring product quality through first-piece, in-process, and final inspections while maintaining accurate inspection records. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, the ability to read technical drawings, and experience using precision measuring tools in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Read and interpret customer prints, work orders, and job documentation to ensure all requirements are met. Verify product conformance including dimensions, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T), surface finishes, material specifications, and plating requirements. Perform first-piece, in-process, and final product inspections. Utilize measuring instruments such as calipers and scales to verify specifications. Record, maintain, and archive inspection data accurately. Complete First Article Inspection (FAI) reports as required. Generate non-conformance reports for parts requiring rework or remake and route them to the appropriate department. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Properly store and account for all tools and equipment when not in use. Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and workplace rules. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, customer drawings, and work instructions. Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and scales. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow written instructions, computer-screen prompts, and direction from supervisors or technical leads. Good verbal and written communication skills. Basic computer and calculator skills. Ability to read, write, and perform basic math in English. Ability to work safely with sharp tools and objects. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in a CNC machining environment. Prior quality inspection or manufacturing experience. Familiarity with GD&T and quality documentation processes. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift. Ability to perform repetitive motions and detailed inspection work. Ability to safely handle tools, parts, and inspection equipment. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and production activity. Why Join Our Team?
