Job Description

Adecco is hiring Mechanical Dimensional Inspectors for a leading manufacturing company in Portsmouth, NH. If you have experience in quality inspection, machining, or precision manufacturing and enjoy working with blueprints, precision measuring equipment, and tight tolerances, this is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team. This is a temporary assignment with strong potential to become a long-term opportunity.

  • Thursday 5:00 AM
  • 3:30 PM Weekend Shift Friday
  • Sunday 5:30 AM
  • 5:45 PM What You'll Do Perform routine mechanical, dimensional, and visual inspections on manufactured components.
Use precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, comparators, and other inspection tools. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and inspection documentation. Accurately record inspection results and investigate measurement discrepancies. Complete inspection reports and quality documentation. Operate basic Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) programs with training and support. Support production by ensuring products meet quality and customer specifications. Communicate quality concerns and assist with corrective actions when needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications At least 1 year of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing, machining, or light industrial environment OR at least 1 year of machining experience with inspection responsibilities. Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and comparators. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings. Basic understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). CMM experience (loading, unloading, or operating) is a plus. Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills. Pay Details:
