Job Description

Build quality into every step Join us onsite in Newington, NH as a key contributor to product conformity and compliance. Reporting to the Quality Supervisor, you will collaborate daily with Quality Control Inspectors, Project Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Manufacturing to verify that all manufacturing and inspection activities align with process work documents and applicable codes. You will own engineering-defined in-process and final inspections, sustain meticulous records, validate our Quality Program in practice, and represent quality during internal, customer, and regulatory audits. Your impact (role snapshot) Incoming control: Verify raw materials, components, and castings meet specifications via visual and mechanical checks.
In-process assurance:
Complete inspection checkpoints per engineering specifications throughout build cycles.
Final verification:
Perform final inspections as defined by Engineering to confirm full requirement compliance.
Disposition authority:
Investigate findings and formally accept or reject parts to engineering criteria.
Nonconformance handling:
Scrap parts per engineering documentation and applicable procedures.
Traceability:
Generate and maintain precise reports, logs, and inspection records. Safety & compliance: Follow standards, procedures, and legal regulations to maintain a safe workplace.
Metrology readiness:
Maintain and verify calibration status of measurement equipment; flag and coordinate repairs.
NDT execution:
Apply ultrasonic, dye penetrant, radiographic, visual, and magnetic particle methods.
Core inspections:
Perform mechanical, visual, and dimensional inspections of parts. Qualifications High school graduate or equivalent plus two (2) years of college/technical school, or equivalent experience. 2+ years of experience in a similar quality/inspection role. Skilled at interpreting engineering drawings and technical documentation; familiarity with welding, welding symbols, shop drawings, and sketches. UT or RT specialty. NDE certification considered a bonus. Experience with Farrow measuring equipment. Capability of certification in any qualification. Must maintain nine (9) qualification levels—specifically including Mechanical Inspection, Weld Surveillance, Liquid Penetrant II, and Magnetic Particle II—per qualification criteria. If Weld Surveillance, Liquid Penetrant II, and Magnetic Particle II cannot be attained/maintained, a Company-selected substitute qualification may be achieved. Work setup
