Job Description

EDM Operator Join a premier Seacoast employer as an EDM Operator! Previous experience is preferred but not required for this direct-hire position with day 1 benefits in a fast-paced, friendly environment. Responsibilities of the EDM Operator Set up, operate, and monitor EDM equipment (wire and/or sinker) to machine precision components Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions to ensure parts meet specification requirements Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, optical equipment) Complete required documentation and enter data in ERP Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in corrective action efforts Follow safety, quality, and 5S standards Collaborate with Quality, Engineering, and other production teams to resolve manufacturing issues Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications of the EDM Operator High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in machining, manufacturing, or related field preferred 2+ years of EDM or CNC machining experience preferred Experience in precision manufacturing or aerospace/defense environment is a plus Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Understanding of machining processes, tooling, and EDM principles Proficiency with precision measurement tools Basic computer skills and experience with ERP systems Experience with wire EDM (e.g., Mitsubishi, Sodick, Fanuc) preferred Familiarity with CAD/CAM programming preferred Knowledge of
ISO 9001/AS9100
quality systems preferred Experience working with tight-tolerance components preferred Pay for this EDM Operator role depends on experience, ranging from $29-$35/hour.
