Quality Control Inspector (Salem)
QUALITY INSPECTOR
Salem, New Hampshire Contract Jun 4, 2026 $22.00
Salary:
$22-$24/hr
JOB SUMMARY
Quality inspectors are responsible for assuring that manufactured items are made and assembled according to customer specifications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform inspection of PCB assemblies or piece parts visually for compliance to IPC-A-610 and complete all required documentation. Perform the first article inspection on all products by work order per the work instructions provided. Document all defects found appropriately and accurately. Performs other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Must have the ability to inspect assemblies using a microscope at 10-20X various magnifications Must have at least 2 years of experience with SMT and THT IPC acceptance criteria of board assembly Trained to read engineering drawings and interpret tolerance specifications Component identification and verification required Must be capable of documenting inspection findings Must be knowledgeable in the use of all inspection tools Good communication, computer, and analytical skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities perception and ability to adjust focus. This position operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, photocopiers, etc.
