Immediately hiring a Quality Inspector in Blackwood, NJ We're hiring Quality Inspector for a cable connector manufacturing in Blackwood, NJ. Candidates with experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers or the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics are preferred. Job Description The Inspector performs detailed quality checks on finished fiber optic and other small electronic components, ensuring products meet established inspection criteria and documentation standards. This role combines hands-on inspection work with basic data entry, shipping and receiving support, and collaboration with quality team members in a warehouse environment. Responsibilities Inspect small electronic and fiber optic components using a microscope to verify that they meet quality and inspection criteria. Identify and remove parts that do not meet inspection standards and ensure they are properly segregated or documented. Complete all required paperwork and computer entries accurately to record inspection results and product status. Assist with quality review activities by supporting other team members in inspection and verification of parts. Support shipping and receiving functions by handling inspected parts, preparing items for shipment, and checking incoming materials as needed. Perform data entry related to inventory, production, and quality control activities in the designated systems. Use calipers, micrometers, and height gauges to measure components and confirm they meet dimensional requirements. Read and interpret print drawings to understand product specifications and inspection requirements. Handle boxes and materials safely, including lifting items weighing up to 25 pounds as part of daily tasks. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in the warehouse and inspection stations. Follow established quality control procedures and general labor practices to support production and assembly operations as needed. Skills Experience inspecting small electronic components through a microscope. Ability to identify nonconforming parts and remove them based on inspection criteria. Proficiency in completing inspection-related paperwork and computer data entry accurately. Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and height gauges for precise measurements. Capability to read and interpret print drawings and apply them to inspection work. Strong attention to detail when inspecting, measuring, and documenting product quality. Ability to lift boxes and materials weighing up to 25 pounds safely. Familiarity with quality control and quality inspection practices in a production or warehouse setting. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in electronics, warehouse operations, inventory, assembly, or production environments. Comfort working with general labor tasks that support inspection, shipping, and receiving. Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation in quality or inventory systems. Ability to collaborate with quality and production teams to resolve issues and improve processes. Willingness to learn and follow established procedures for inspection and quality control. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Blackwood, NJ 08012. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
