2:30PM - 11:00PM SUMMARY Responsible for performing various CMM Programming and inspections on Gas Turbine engines using overhaul manuals, standard practice manuals and WGPW established procedures.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The position includes but is not limited to the following essential duties and responsibilities. Perform daily start up and calibration of CMM Program CMM as required for various parts Review current programs and make suggestion on the improvement of the same Provide inspection department with pre-repair and post repair CMM results Provide investigative CMM results when required Conduct oneself in a businesslike manner and in the spirit of teamwork Special projects as directed by management. Maintain a clean, orderly and efficient workstation. Follow applicable safety procedures and rules at all times and wear required Personal Protective Equipment.
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the Knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Strong skills pertaining to blueprint reading, GD&T knowledge. Excellent communication skills to interface with employees and customers. Familiarity of PC - Dmis software is a plus. Ability to calculate figures such as ratios, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply the basic concepts of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and shop math as they relate to inspection or trouble shooting. EDUCATION and/or
EXPERIENCE
Associate degree in manufacturing or equivalent work experience. Specialized training in the Quality Control field or technical school, military training and 1 to 3 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum of 5 years of CMM programming experience required. Minimum of 10 years of inspection experience preferred.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to handle parts. The employee must occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee may occasionally work with chemicals while signing in consumable materials in for use on parts within the shop.
