Job Description

Description Permanent position for a CMM Programmer for high-precision machining operations. Utilize knowledge of ISO and
ASME GD&T
to interpret engineering layouts, drawings, and documentation of various levels of components, assemblies, and subassemblies. Prepare inspection plans based on part geometry, tolerances, GD&T and functional requirements for optimum performance and accuracy. Responsible for effective and efficient calibration to ensure compliance with quality standards and applicable internal regulations. Requirements Experience programming and operating Zeiss CMM machines. Experience with CALYPSO metrology software is required. Experience with measurement and inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, bore gauges, optical comparators, etc. Experience with ProShop ERP a plus, but not required. Formal GD&T and CMM training. Minimum 3 years of experience operation and programming preferred. Requires US Citizen as position is with a defense contractor. #ERGx
