Job Description

Position Overview:
This position is required to support the company's objectives for product quality though control of in-coming materials, first articles inspections, spot product audits and any final inspection/certificates of conformance and reporting of any identified production monitoring data. In addition, this position is required to support the company's objective to maintain
ISO 9001
certification through timely quality audits according to the
ISO 9001
audit schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct in-coming material and sub-contracted processes output inspection to set material specifications and recording of in-coming results in Visual Quality module Conduct first articles for each customer order, working as a team with production employees and shift supervisors to ensure optimal product quality through each order. Immediately report any out of specification conditions to the operator, shift supervisors and Quality Manager. Complete all necessary first article paperwork as required Conduct spot product audits in collaboration with the shift supervisor and operators to monitor product quality of product being manufactured. Immediately report any out of specification conditions to the operator, shift supervisor and Quality Manager. Complete internal non-conformity documentation on any out of specification situation observed Conduct quality audits according to the
ISO 9001
audit schedule. Complete internal non-conformity documentation on any findings observed Prepare reporting for the identified CTQ (Critical to Quality) attributes for each product group Prepare any and all Certificates of Conformance on outgoing product, as required
Other Important Responsibilities:
Work in collaboration with shift supervisors and production leads in decisions involving product quality, quality hold or quality stoppage Conduct material or product testing according to the direction of R D, shift supervisors or Quality Manager Summarize test results and deliver to requesting party Engage and support companywide Safety and Cleanliness programs Will be required to perform other job functions, as assigned
Qualifications:
A minimum 1 to 3 years (or more) of relevant experience High School Education a must, Bachelor's Degree in any engineering, science or mathematics discipline a plus Excellent verbal communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail Excellent mathematical skills Ability to use, understand or interpret measurement devices Task oriented, excellent organizational skills, ability to prioritize work load Enthusiastic attitude, cooperative team player, adaptable to new or changing circumstances, professional demeanor, sensitive to client needs, self-motivated, creative and innovative High level of computer literacy including working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and Outlook Physical requirements and work environment: Must be able to lift 20 lbs Must be able to sustain office work for 8+ hours per day including the following: Sitting in an office chair Typing Reaching for the telephone Standing at office equipment Hearing for phone use Sight for computer use Must be able to sustain factory work for 8+ hours including the following: Standing at machinery Repetitive measuring Reaching and pulling Sight for measurement device reading Walking through shop Shop noise levels are such that protective ear-coverings are recommended About CompoSecure CompoSecure, a GPGI business (
