Job Description

Your role This position involves assembling vacuum pumps and peripherals, testing and calibrating units to meet specifications, and performing tests according to internal instructions. You'll interpret, document, and communicate results to relevant departments, complete the final assembly of components onto pump systems, and handle other related tasks as assigned. Job Responsibilities Assemble a variety of pumps and peripherals Testing units to meet tolerances & product specifications Maintaining the companies rigid quality assurance standards Note information to work orders as required Works under limited supervision Perform in process specific visual and measurement inspection checks Perform specific visual and measurement inspection checks as directed. Record, report and compile inspection result data Perform quality audits as directed Recommend changes to inspection methods as conditions warrant To succeed, you will need Mechanical Aptitude Ability to measure and handle a variety of complex parts Have good oral and written communications skills. Exhibit the ability to perform activities without constant supervision Skilled using measuring equipment: micrometer; caliper; Dial indicators etc Math skills for data analysis. Computer skills for data collection, record keeping and reports Good Interpersonal communication skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills desired Physical Requirements Regularly required to talk, and hear. Stand for extended periods, walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
