Quality Control Technician

Manufacturing warehouse seeking Quality Control Techs for the following shifts: Position 1

• Wednesday thru Sunday 10pm
• 6:30am (1 week each month will be from 6pm
• 6:30am) Position 2
• Saturday thru Wednesday 10pm
• 6:30am (1 week each month will be from 6pm
• 6:30am) Key Responsibilities (not all listed below): Perform thorough inspections of raw materials, components, work in progress product, and finished products to check for defects, non-conformities, and deviations from quality standards.

Work closely with production teams to ensure that manufacturing processes are in compliance with quality standards. Keep detailed records of inspections, testing results, and any deviations from the quality standards up to date and maintained. Perform line clearance inspection, verify effectiveness of cleaning and sanitation procedures by performing pre-operational inspections of equipment as well as perform ATP swabbing. Verify established Critical Control Points are followed in Monitors all CCP, metal detectors, Xray. Identify opportunities for process improvement and suggestions on changes to enhance efficiency and product quality. Investigate root causes of quality issues, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and recommend corrective and preventative actions to prevent future occurrences.

Required Skills:

HS diploma or equivalent qualifications. Certification in quality control is preferred. Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role. Excellent knowledge of MS Office, strong math, technical and communication skills. Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques. Required to stand and walk most of the day with occasional sitting to do measurements and paperwork. Must be able to lift 25 lbs. while wearing PPE, such as hairnet, beard net (if applicable), earplugs and safety glasses.
