Shift:
6:00 am to 2:30 pm Monday - Friday Quality Assurance Bulk Inspectors Position Purpose and Objectives Ensures that all quality procedures are adhered to during the packaging of finished products and related activities. Quality Assurance Bulk Inspectors Essential Job Functions Must follow all GMP's and relevant SOP's. Must be aware of the relevance and importance of their individual activities in contributing to VitaQuest's commitment to food safety. Performs line release functions during start-up in Packaging operations. Maintains on-line monitoring of finished products; i.e. weight checks, label checks, lot & exp dating, during packaging operations. Issues deviations reports to identify and correct problems found during the packaging operation. Performs statistical inspections of bulk products or packaging components when necessary. Obtains statistical samples of finished product for special customer requests and QA retain program. Works with Management to complete special projects as required. Quality Assurance Bulk Inspectors Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required Must have good communication skills. Demonstrates proficiency in both spoken and written English.
Basic mathematic skills:
addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages. Basic computer literacy and knowledge of the SAP system. Must demonstrate a high level of responsibility and a proactive attitude towards their daily job assignments. Must be able to pay attention to details. Supervisory Responsibility N/A Working Conditions A dynamic and busy, production floor environment Strong interaction with Packaging Line Leaders and Supervisors during packaging production of tablet, capsule, and powdered products. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma Success Factors Must functions well in a dynamic environment. Willing to learn new skills, and is highly people oriented. Demonstrate responsibility and is proactive in daily activities. Serves as a role model for others to follow.
