Full Job Description Summary:
The QA Technician is responsible for supporting the company's quality assurance and food safety programs by performing routine inspections, monitoring production processes, and ensuring compliance with company standards, GMPs, HACCP, and food safety requirements. This position works closely with production and sanitation teams to maintain product quality and support a safe manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Include, but are not limited to: Perform routine quality checks and inspections throughout production and warehouse areas Monitor compliance with GMPs, food safety policies, and company procedures Conduct line checks, product evaluations, and in-process inspections Collect and document quality data accurately and timely Verify product labeling, packaging, coding, and specifications Monitor sanitation and housekeeping standards throughout the facility Assist with product holds, releases, and non-conformance investigations Support environmental monitoring and allergen control programs Report quality and food safety concerns to management promptly Maintain accurate quality records and documentation Assist with internal audits and audit preparation activities Participate in corrective action and continuous improvement initiatives Support employee GMP and food safety compliance efforts Other duties as assigned Job Requirements High school diploma or GED required Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Biology, or related field preferred 5+ year of QA or food manufacturing experience preferred Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP, and food safety standards preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Good communication and problem-solving abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
