Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to conduct quality control inspections and ensure all finished products meet customer requirements, company specifications, and BRC (British Retail Consortium) standards . The ideal candidate will examine products and materials for defects or deviations from company, customer, and industry specifications while supporting our mission to deliver safe, high-quality products. Key Responsibilities Conduct quality control inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods Examine products and materials for defects, contamination, or deviations from specifications Verify compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and BRC food safety/quality standards Document inspection results by completing reports, logs, and maintaining accurate records Identify and troubleshoot quality issues; report defects or inconsistencies to quality management Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues and ensure consistent product quality Calibrate and maintain testing equipment; ensure measuring devices are set up correctly Participate in internal audits and quality improvement initiatives Ensure manufacturing processes comply with national and international regulatory standards Support line clearance and package integrity checks Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent (associate degree or technical degree preferred) 1-2 years of experience in quality control, manufacturing, or production environment Familiarity with quality standards (ISO 9001, BRC, cGMP) is highly desirable Strong attention to detail and analytical skills Ability to read and interpret technical documents, specifications, and quality procedures Proficient in using measurement tools and testing equipment Good communication and teamwork skills Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting Must be open to working all shifts (including evenings, nights, weekends) Preferred Qualifications Technical degree or certification in quality control, food science, or related field Previous experience in CPG, food manufacturing, or snack production Knowledge of BRCGS Food Safety standards Experience with statistical analysis or quality documentation systems Work Environment Fast-paced manufacturing/production environment May require standing for extended periods and handling products/materials Shift work including evenings, nights, and weekends required
