Job Description

Heart to Heart is seeking a dedicated professional to perform duties as a Quality Assurance Coordinator at our Group Home Programs throughout South Jersey. The Quality Assurance Coordinator will provide oversight for the development and implementation of programs at Heart to Heart. This position will provide quality assurance, oversight, support and training at all programs within the designated region to ensure that the programs meet licensing, funding and accreditation requirements. The Quality Assurance Coordinator will work with Program Directors and program staff and ensure that all program staff are receiving appropriate training and direction and will work in conjunction with support staff (Director of Nursing, Behavior Support Specialist) to ensure that the services provided are effective and as strong as possible.
Requirements:
Must be 21 years of age or older. Three or more years of experience working with people with developmental disabilities. One or more of which shall have been of a supervisory nature. Will not be listed on the Central Registry. Will cooperate with all DHS, DDD and Heart to Heart investigations.
Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong supervisory skills. Knowledge of sound program practices and program development. Strong knowledge of NJAC 10:44A (Standards for Community Residences for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities) Computer knowledge
Training:
Must complete mandatory DDD and Heart to Heart trainings including: Overview of Developmental Disabilities Prevention of Abuse, Neglect and Exploitation Medication Administration CPR and First Aid Agency Orientation Agency's approved training on handling life threatening emergencies/Danielle's Law/Komnino's Law All additional trainings as necessary
Conditions:
Works primarily in the field at programs. Requires travel throughout region for purposes of providing quality assurance, support, training and program development. Requires travel to consumer locations throughout Heart to Heart service area. Requires flexible hours. Requires being available on call 24 hours a day/7 day a week.
