Job Description

Help Shape the Future of Early Intervention Quality & Outcomes At Aprendamos Family of Services, we are Built on Values —Families First, Integrity Always, Pursuit of Excellence, Making a Meaningful Difference, and Shaping the Future. We are seeking an Early Intervention Quality Assurance Specialist to support quality, compliance, and continuous improvement across our Early Intervention (EI) Program. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining data analysis, quality improvement, training, and process management to improve outcomes for children and families. In this role, you will help ensure alignment with New Mexico FIT Service Definitions and Standards , support APR indicator performance , strengthen documentation quality, and coordinate transition processes that directly impact service excellence.
What You'll Do:
Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) Analyze trends and identify barriers impacting service quality and compliance. Develop recommendations and corrective action plans to improve outcomes. Partner with leadership to implement quality initiatives across the program. Monitor effectiveness of improvement efforts and adjust strategies as needed. Data Analysis & Program Performance Analyze performance metrics related to: APR indicators Compliance timelines Service delivery outcomes Documentation quality Identify opportunities for improvement related to: Initial IFSPs Six-Month Reviews Annual IFSPs Transition processes CME reporting Provide data-driven recommendations to leadership. Training & Staff Development Deliver training, coaching, and technical assistance related to: FIT standards Documentation requirements Compliance expectations Quality initiatives Support onboarding and staff education related to quality assurance processes. Documentation Review & Transition Oversight Conduct documentation reviews to ensure: Accuracy, Timeliness, & Compliance Adherence to organizational standards Monitor quality of IFSP documentation and service coordination records. Coordinate and track transition activities to ensure all required timelines are met. Maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual reports supporting FIT APR indicators. Develop and manage tracking tools that support Family Service Coordinators throughout the transition process. What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Human Services, or related field from an accredited institution Strong data management and reporting skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Teams Ability to learn new systems and technology Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of IDEA Part C regulations and New Mexico FIT requirements Experience with: Auditing Compliance monitoring Quality assurance Continuous quality improvement initiatives Why Join Aprendamos?
