Job Description

Description The Quality Technician is responsible for supporting product quality through dimensional inspection, documentation, troubleshooting, and cross-functional collaboration. This role uses standard metrology equipment to verify the company product meets engineering requirements. Roles and responsibilities Measure parts using precision tools and specialized machines to make sure they match the correct dimensions designated on blueprints or established tolerances. Refer to engineering drawings, blueprints, and quality measurement standards to ensure precision. Help investigate and determine why returned items failed and ensure that quality standards are updated & maintained throughout all departments Track inspection results and share quality updates with Quality Manager and occasionally with the production, engineering, and assembly teams. Help other departments when needed. This position is expected to cross-train across multiple departments Possess the willingness to assist with quality improvement efforts and support continuous improvement activities. All other duties as assigned by management Qualifications, Skills and Education Requirements Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or blueprints. Strong understanding of dimensions, tolerances, and measurement accuracy. Ability to document inspection results and technical findings accurately and thoroughly. Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel. Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to work effectively with multiple departments.
Preferred:
Experience using metrology and dimensional inspection equipment.

Experience within a manufacturing or machine shop setting Physical Requirements Able to lift 50+ pounds at times Ability to stand for long periods Pass the pre-employment drug screen and background check
