Job Description

Our client is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to play a key role in supporting program integrity and ensuring that services delivered to clients meet established standards, particularly in regards to clinical and related disciplines at a mental health hospital and residential care facility. This position focuses on evaluating the appropriateness and effectiveness of services through onsite reviews, documentation analysis, and ongoing quality improvement efforts. The role is ideal for someone who is detail‑oriented, collaborative, and committed to strengthening service delivery systems. In this position, the specialist will assist programs in meeting certification requirements by providing technical guidance, developing performance criteria, and helping staff understand and implement best practices. The work involves reviewing incident reports, identifying trends, and recommending solutions to enhance program outcomes. Statewide travel is required, and while not mandatory, a license or credential in Social Work or a related field is required. Key Duties Conduct onsite reviews to evaluate the quality and appropriateness of client services. Provide technical assistance to programs and staff regarding compliance and service standards. Review, analyze, and monitor incident reports for accuracy, trends, and follow‑up needs. Develop and refine quality assurance and quality improvement criteria, tools, and methodologies. Coordinate agency efforts to achieve and maintain program certification. Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure alignment with established policies and standards. Qualifications Experience in quality assurance, human services, or related program evaluation functions. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret reports, identify trends, and recommend improvements. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to provide clear guidance and supportive technical assistance. Ability to travel statewide as required.
