The purpose of this position is to identify and prevent defects, ensure compliance with quality control procedures, and contribute to the overall success of the manufacturing operations. The successful incumbent will perform inspections and quality checks during various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure that products meet specified requirements and adhere to quality standards.

High SchoolResponsibilities Perform in-process inspections of manufactured components or assemblies at different stages of production to ensure compliance with specifications, drawings, and quality standards. Use precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and optical comparators, to measure and verify part dimensions, tolerances, and finishes. Conduct visual inspections to identify any visual defects, such as surface imperfections, scratches, dents, or abnormalities in appearance. Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to understand product requirements and inspection criteria. Document inspection results, including measurements, observations, and any non-conformities found, accurately and in a timely manner. Communicate any deviations or non-conformities to appropriate personnel, such as supervisors, quality control engineers, or production teams, and collaborate on corrective actions. Ensure compliance with quality control procedures, including adherence to established inspection plans, standards, and work instructions. Maintain a clean and organized inspection area and handle measuring instruments and equipment with care to ensure their accuracy and longevity. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
