Job Description
Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Technician to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our food products meet strict quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. Your keen eye for detail, mechanical aptitude, and understanding of quality systems will help maintain the integrity of our production processes. The ideal candidate is passionate about quality assurance, has strong analytical skills, and enjoys working in a collaborative environment to uphold excellence in manufacturing. Responsibilities Perform dimensional measurements using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and coordinate measuring machines to verify product specifications. Conduct visual inspections utilizing vision inspection systems and other measurement tools to identify defects or deviations from quality standards. Interpret mechanical blueprints and manufacturing documents to ensure products are produced according to design specifications. Execute quality audits and inspections throughout the production process to identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions. Maintain accurate data collection records related to quality metrics, measurement results, and inspection outcomes. Ensure compliance with ISO audit standards, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), FDA regulations, HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and other regulatory standards in production. Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing inspection data and participating in root cause analysis for quality issues. Skills Experience with quality assurance within manufacturing environments, including familiarity with QA/QC procedures and quality management systems. Proficiency in using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and vision inspection systems. Knowledge of ISO audit standards, ISO audit standards, GMP, and FDA regulations. Mechanical knowledge including interpretation of mechanical blueprints and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). Ability to interpret production documents and manufacturing instructions accurately. Strong analysis skills for identifying root causes of quality issues and implementing solutions. Basic math skills for measurements, data analysis, and report generation.
