$52,000 - $73,000 per year shift: First work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM education: High School Responsibilities Perform inspections of components to ensure compliance to drawings, customer specifications and workmanship standards. Ability of using precision measurement instruments such as a caliper, micrometer, and other required gages applicable to measurements. Familiar with mechanical measuring equipment such as Optical Gaging Product (OGP), and/or X-ray fluorescence (XRF), testing used to determine the elemental composition of materials. Knowledge and understanding of different materials used in manufacturing (aluminum, brass, copper, etc.). Knowledge and understanding of tolerances and basic GD&T of blueprint drawings. Visual inspection for workmanship and print compliance with aid of a microscope if applicable. Maintain inspection logs and records. Familiar with industry standards such as Mil Specs, IPC-A-610 and

MIL-STD-883.
