This individual will ensure all products meet customer specifications, engineering requirements, and company quality standards while supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization. Essential Responsibilities Perform incoming, in-process, first article, and final inspections of CNC-machined components and assemblies. Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, customer specifications, and work instructions. Verify dimensions and tolerances using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, pin gauges, thread gauges, and other precision measuring equipment. Conduct dimensional inspections to ensure compliance with customer and engineering requirements. Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate quality records. Identify, document, and assist in the disposition of non-conforming materials and products. Support root cause investigations and corrective action activities. Assist with quality system compliance and continuous improvement initiatives. Work closely with production, engineering, and operations teams to resolve quality concerns and improve manufacturing processes. Support calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment. Participate in customer audits, internal audits, and quality improvement projects as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Required Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection experience in a CNC machining, precision manufacturing, metal fabrication, or manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and technical drawings. Experience performing dimensional inspections on machined components. Proficiency using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and related inspection tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. Ability to stand, walk, and perform inspection activities throughout the workday. Preferred Qualifications Experience inspecting CNC-machined components. Knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing). First Article Inspection (FAI) experience. Experience working in an
ISO 9001
manufacturing environment. Experience inspecting tight-tolerance precision components. Experience using CMM equipment, vision systems, or advanced inspection technologies. Experience with Zeiss, Keyence, or similar metrology equipment. Forklift certification or material handling experience. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 40 pounds occasionally. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive inspection tasks throughout the shift. Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
