Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Inspector to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet stringent quality standards and comply with industry regulations. Your keen eye for detail, technical expertise, and commitment to excellence will help uphold our reputation for delivering top-quality products. Responsibilities :
(but are not limited to the following) Responsible for ensuring compliance with cGMP and company policies, procedures and specifications Responsible for performing in-process inspections, batch record review, and quality system functions in accordance with cGMP and related company SOP's, state, federal and local laws applicable To monitor, perform and document sampling/testing and inspection of raw material/components/in-process samples Labeling Components and documents the results in compliance with cGMP and company procedures Write and review SOPs To perform Line QA duties Preparation of all written reports, recording all information accurately and at required intervals Coordination with QC lab & production personnel & take care of all reports in a timely manner related to materials, products, incidents, deviations, CAPA etc. To assist in Customer Audits, Any Agency Audits and or internal audit & review on a timely basis To assist in Product Complaints/ Recalls/Mock Recalls Other responsibilities as assigned by executive management
Education and Qualification:
Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science preferably in Pharmacy, Chemistry or related field. Or Pharmaceutical QA or related experience
Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of basic or commonly used rules, procedures and operations related to nutraceutical and/or OTC regulations Thorough understanding of Pharmaceutical Quality Assurance concept, including the ability to identify and resolve compliance issues Ability to create documentation to use as a future standard 2 to 3 years working experience in the relevant QA environment Ability to predict and conform to change, as necessary Independent Decision maker, Ability to work in a fast phase
Physical Demands:
Required to reach with arms and use hands and fingers to handle or feel Required to stoop, kneel, crouch, stand, bend, sit, talk, hear, and climb a ladder The employee may lift and/or move up to 50 lbs or more Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Work Environment:
Work in an office environment but also at very close proximity to heavy machinery in the warehouse and powders from products May be in contact with Allergens (Milk, Eggs, Fish, Crustacean Shellfish. Tree Nuts, Peanuts, Wheat, and Soybeans) Potential to move between office and warehouse areas to complete job functions
Training Requirements:
General Safety GDP, SOP, HACCP and cGMP General Manufacturing and Packaging procedures We offer a comprehensive benefit package including medical, dental, vision, and 401K with match. Compliance with New York State Human Rights Pay Transparency Law, the hourly base range for this position is $23.00-$27.00. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
