Job Description

Company Overview Optical Store in Hollis Queens/Queens Village looking for an edger for part time work. Hollis Vision Center is a dedicated optometry practice committed to providing comprehensive eye care services. Our team focuses on delivering personalized vision solutions and maintaining high standards of patient care in a professional environment. Optical Store in Hollis Queens/Queens Village looking for an edger for part time work.
Responsibilities:
Precision Edging:
Perform high-quality edging, blocking, and mounting of lenses on Santinelli equipment.
Quality Control:
Conduct final inspections to ensure all jobs meet ANSI standards and our office's quality benchmarks.
Maintenance:
Keep the lab clean and perform basic daily maintenance on the edging system.
Tinting/Surfacing:
Perform basic tinting or hand-finishing as required.
Qualifications:
Excellent Attention:
To detail and the ability to maintain accuracy. A "measure twice, cut once" mentality with a commitment to accuracy.
Effective Communication Skills:
With the ability to collaborate with team members and comminate technical information clearly.
Ability To Work Independently:
Prioritize tasks effectively to meet production deadlines.
Willingness To Learn:
Adapt to new technologies and processes.
Pay:
$20-$25 an hour
Pay:
