www.youtube.com/@kistnerconcreteproductsinc286 Position Overview We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to support and enforce our quality standards throughout the production process. This role requires strong technical aptitude, accountability, and the ability to make independent, quality-driven decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Schedule :
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (overtime required as needed) Key Responsibilities- Perform and document daily testing of fresh concrete, aggregate moisture, and compressive strength (cylinder breaks) with a high degree of accuracy
- Conduct pre-pour, in-process, and post-pour inspections using shop drawings and specifications
- Identify, document, and communicate quality issues clearly and promptly
- Ensure strict adherence to company, NPCA and ACI standards, and customer specifications
- Maintain organized, audit-ready records of all testing and inspections
- Safely operate testing equipment, computers/tablets, and basic tools Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure (assessment will be conducted during the interview)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and technical specifications
- Strong math skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven reliability, punctuality, and accountability in prior roles
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines Certification Requirement
- Must obtain ACI Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I certification within the first year of employment (company-supported) Preferred Experience (Strongly Considered)
- Prior experience in concrete, construction materials testing, manufacturing QA/QC, or similar field
- Experience performing
ASTM/ACI
testing procedures- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams, and Word
- Experience working in environments with strict quality or compliance standards Additional Requirements
