In this energetic and detail-oriented position, you will be responsible for meticulously inspecting jewelry pieces to meet rigorous quality standards, adhering to industry regulations, and maintaining the highest level of craftsmanship. Your keen eye for detail, combined with your knowledge of quality systems and measurement tools, will help us deliver stunning, flawless jewelry that delights our customers worldwide. Duties Conduct thorough visual and dimensional inspections of jewelry items using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems. Utilize quality management software like Calypso to document inspection results accurately and efficiently. Perform quality audits in accordance with
ISO 9001, ISO
13485, and other relevant standards to ensure compliance across manufacturing processes. Verify jewelry components against design specifications, including weight, dimensions, finish, and overall appearance. Identify defects or inconsistencies related to craftsmanship, materials, or assembly; escalate issues promptly for corrective action. Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing inspection data and participating in root cause analysis sessions. Experience Proven experience in quality control or quality assurance within jewelry manufacturing or similar precision manufacturing environments. Familiarity with industry standards such as
ISO 9001, ISO 13485, CGMP
(Current Good Manufacturing Practice), and HACCP protocols. Hands-on experience operating measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, coordinate measuring machines (CMM), and vision inspection systems. Strong understanding of quality systems and processes related to QA/QC functions in a regulated environment. Demonstrated ability to perform detailed analysis skills and data collection to support quality management initiatives. Knowledge of Calypso software or similar quality management systems is highly desirable. Excellent attention to detail coupled with the ability to perform precise measurements using tools like precision measuring instruments and vision inspection systems.
