Job Description

Job Title:
Quality Inspector (2nd shift)
Location:
Middletown, NYSalary:
$20 hourly plus shift differential
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 5:30pm to 12am | Friday, 3:30pm to 12am Training will take place on day shift: Monday through Thursday 7am to 5:30pm | Friday, 7am to 3:30pm Seeking Quality Inspector to perform in-process and final inspections of machined parts, assemblies, and prototype hardware. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong ethics, flexibility, and a willingness to train across multiple areas of inspection in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
Perform visual, dimensional, in-process, and final inspections using calipers, gauges, micrometers, electronic inspection equipment, and technical documentation.

Document inspection results by completing required logs, forms, files, and electronic quality database entries accurately and in a timely manner.

Identify and reject parts or assemblies that do not meet specifications and report quality concerns to supervisors or management.

Follow standard operating procedures, AS9100 and quality standards, safety requirements, calibration instructions, and cross-train in multiple inspection areas such as vision, airflow, water flow, and documentation.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required, with basic math skills and the ability to accurately interpret inspection results.

Prior quality inspection, manufacturing, automotive, HVAC, welding, EDM, or related hands-on technical experience preferred.

Must meet ITAR definition of a U.S. Person, be able to follow verbal and written instructions in English, and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.

Must have strong attention to detail, flexibility, a willingness to learn multiple areas, 20/25 vision natural or corrected, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance.
