Beer Server - Beer Hall (Hofbräu Specialist)

General Manager / Floor Manager Position Summary The Beer Server is responsible for delivering exceptional guest service in a high-volume beer hall environment while serving and pouring Hofbräu beer. This role requires strong knowledge of the Hofbräu beer portfolio, the ability to properly pour draft beer, and the energy to thrive in a fast-paced atmosphere. The Beer Server serves as a brand ambassador, ensuring every guest enjoys an authentic beer hall experience. Key Responsibilities Guest Service Provide friendly, attentive, and efficient service to all guests. Greet guests promptly and assist with menu and beer selections. Take food and beverage orders accurately. Deliver food and beverages in a timely manner. Create a welcoming and energetic beer hall atmosphere. Handle guest concerns professionally and escalate issues when necessary. Beer Service & Product Knowledge Demonstrate knowledge of the Hofbräu beer lineup, including flavor profiles, styles, and serving recommendations. Properly pour draft beer according to company standards, ensuring correct head retention, presentation, and glassware. Maintain beer quality standards throughout service. Educate guests about Hofbräu products and answer questions confidently. Promote featured beers and upsell larger pours and specialty offerings when appropriate. Operations Maintain clean and organized service stations. Monitor draft beer levels and communicate keg changes when necessary. Assist with opening and closing duties. Follow all responsible alcohol service guidelines and local regulations. Ensure glassware, tables, and guest areas remain clean and presentable. Work closely with bartenders, food runners, and management to ensure smooth service. Qualifications Previous serving experience in a restaurant, beer garden, brewery, or beer hall preferred. Ability to pour draft beer properly and consistently. Knowledge of beer styles and draft beer service techniques preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment. Must be able to multitask and remain organized during busy service periods. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to carry heavy beer steins, trays, and service equipment. Ability to lift and move kegs or beer-related supplies when necessary (with proper assistance and training). Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment. Compensation:
Hourly wage plus tips, based on experience and qualifications.
