This is a precision machine shop that manufactures tight-tolerance components for the aerospace and defense industries — parts that have to be right every time. As a Quality Technician, you'll be a critical line of defense in a high-mix, low-volume environment where no two days are the same and your eye for detail directly impacts mission-critical products. You'll work closely alongside engineers and machinists and have real ownership over inspection processes. What you'll do: Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections on machined parts to the highest quality standards Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T callouts, and job specifications with confidence Conduct gage calibration and maintain accurate records in Gage Track software Audit production quality at every phase of manufacture and document findings clearly Partner with engineers and machinists on root cause analysis and continuous improvement Develop and maintain detailed in-process and final inspection reports Support
AS9100 / ISO 9001
compliance and participate in internal audits Requirements 5+ years of quality inspection experience in a machine shop or precision manufacturing environment Solid command of standard measurement tools: calipers, micrometers, CMM, height gauges, etc. Strong blueprint reading skills including GD&T Familiarity with
AS9100 / ISO 9001
quality management systems Organized, detail-obsessed, and able to manage multiple inspection queues under deadline pressure High school diploma or equivalent; internal auditing experience is a plus Benefits Medical, dental & vision 401(k) PTO Day & evening shifts available
