OF OPERATION
Monday - Friday 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
COMPENSATION
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
PURPOSE:
The purpose of the Scale Operator position is to accurately record weights and measures of inbound/outbound truck/carloads. Record peddler credentials and process and validate payout transactions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet and assist customers in a friendly manner, providing quality customer service. Provide metal recycling information to customers. Transaction computer entries. prepares customer BOLs. Assist with inventory and production entries. Other projects as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. Computer competency. Weights and measures background is a plus. Basic mathematical skills. Strong communication skills. Professional conduct. Multi-tasker. One year of experience in a similar position is a plus.
