Job Description
Runner - Roofing Materials Support Job Summary Support crews by transporting materials, tools, and equipment between the shop, supplier yards, and active job sites. Keep jobs moving by making sure crews always have what they need, when they need it. Responsibilities Pick up and deliver roofing, gutter, and siding materials to job sites Load/unload trucks and trailers Run to suppliers (shingles, underlayment, flashing, etc.) for last-minute or missing items Return unused materials, tools, or equipment to the shop/warehouse Communicate with crew leads and PM on delivery timing and material needs Keep company vehicle clean, fueled, and in good condition Basic inventory checks — flag low stock or damaged materials Requirements Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly Reliable, punctual, good communicator Comfortable using a smartphone for scheduling/communication apps Prior construction/warehouse experience a plus, not required Details Full-time, hourly Company vehicle provided Hours vary based on job site schedules; may require early starts
