Job Description

Job Overview Quality Assurance is responsible for supporting daily operations, ensuring quality standards are being met, and improving the manufacturing process by removing waste and change.

A Day In The Life Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by: Performing in-process and final product acceptance based on AQL sampling. Coordinating process improvement activities with work order; drawing changes with Mfg. Engineering and Operations as required. Willing to assist or coordinate auditor efforts in other areas as required. Keeping management apprised of progress and obstacles that constrain attainment of company objectives. Understanding the plant policies and environment as it pertains to the safety of employees, operation of equipment, handling of equipment, and materials. Understanding and monitoring QA and Production performance as defined in foundry control plans. What will help you thrive in this role? High School Diploma Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred Prior Quality Assurance auditing experience (required) Record of passing HPS QA Test (required) Experience with SAP systems preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Hubbell Incorporated Hubbell creates critical infrastructure solutions that power our customers, communities, people and the planet.
