  • Quality Control Specialist | Akron, OH | Start ASAP! Lingo Staffing is recruiting for a Direct Hire Quality Control Specialist opportunity with a growing dietary supplement manufacturer in Akron, OH! Quality Control Specialist
  • Responsible for ensuring dietary supplement products meet all quality, safety, and regulatory standards before reaching consumers.
This role involves inspecting raw materials, monitoring production processes, conducting product testing, maintaining quality records, and ensuring compliance with FDA and GMP regulations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of product quality and safety.

AM Job Responsibilities & Requirements:
Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods. Perform line checks and verify manufacturing and packaging processes. Audit batch records and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Monitor production processes and critical control points to prevent quality deviations. Verify proper calibration and maintenance of production equipment. Conduct in-process testing to ensure product consistency and quality. Perform finished product testing for potency, purity, and compliance with specifications. Test products for microbial contamination and other potential safety concerns. Maintain detailed and accurate quality control documentation and records. Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions. Collaborate with production and compliance teams to ensure regulatory compliance. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in quality systems and processes. Promote a culture of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance throughout the facility. Previous Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, or GMP experience preferred. Experience in dietary supplements, pharmaceutical, food manufacturing, or related industry is a plus. Knowledge of FDA regulations and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to maintain accurate documentation and records. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Reliable attendance and a commitment to workplace safety.
