Job Description

Production Start-up Approval Inspection/Process (First Shot) and End of Run Inspection (Last Shot)In-Process Inspections (Dimensional, Cosmetic, Fit/Form/Function, Product Testing)In-Process Audits Verify compliance and proper execution of process/operator work instructions; detect compliance/conformance issues to prevent issues from escaping to customersContainment of non-conforming products and utilize ERP system for documenting issuesPerform inventory transactions related to product acceptance/rejectionAssist via providing information and data on corrective action project investigationsDeploy PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) methodologies at the start of each shift for planning out inspection and auditing activity to support the manufacturing production floorAssist the production leadership team by providing additional training, knowledge sharing, and inspection criteria awareness to support the success of inspection-operatorsPerform Internal Audits and report findings per the schedule as a member of the Internal Audit TeamStore and deploy quality documentation and instructions at manufacturing cellsCollaborate with the production team on addressing quality issues Decision Documents, root cause investigation, product disposition, monitoring, and constructive feedbackComplete receiving inspection tasks on purchased or outsourced materialsComplete daily shift reporting for scrap analysis and compliance to company standardsAssist with admin or clerical tasks such as document control, material traceability, and equipment calibration as requested by the Manager or other team membersMaintain organization in the quality inspection areas, testing areas, and quality containment areasRegular and punctual attendance (Be here, on-time each day, ready to work)Support initiatives by the Quality Manager to provide white glover service to customersPerform other responsibilities as needed to support the success of the organization
